Astra Boss Visits UMKM Automotive Component Suppliers
President Director of PT Astra International Prijono Sugiarto visited a number of UMKM suppliers of the company and automotive component manufacturers. The suppliers are partners of PT Astra Mitra Ventura (AMV). Several suppliers and manufacturers of automotive spare parts that received visits were PT Galih Ayom Paramesti, PT Aristo Satria Mandiri Indonesia (Bekasi), PT Eran Teknikatama (Cileungsi) and PT Sempana Jaya Agung (Depok). "This activity is a medium for AMV and PPU to share information about many things, including the development of the Astra Group business, the PPU business (partnership companies) and global conditions, which are very beneficial for the development of the PPU business," wrote Astra management, Monday (1/6/2015).
As of April 2015, AMV has provided financing to 375 MSMEs, with a total financing of Rp 496 billion and employment of around 5,500 people. MSMEs that are AMV partners are spread across the Jabodetabek, Banten, West Java, Central Java, East Java, Bali, South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Central Kalimantan, West Kalimantan, Jambi, West Sumatra and Lampung regions. In addition to Prijono, this activity was also attended by President Commissioner of PT Astra Mitra Ventura Gunawan Geniusahardja, President Director of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor Sudirman MR, Executive Vice President Director of PT Astra Honda Motor Johannes Loman, Director of PT Astra International Tbk Djony Bunarto Tjondro, President Director of AMV Henry C. Widjaja, directors and executives of the Astra Group, commissioners and directors of AMV and representatives from subsidiaries of the Astra Group.
